·Amélie the Moon Bear is made from fabrics that were buried under the trees. She carries a star to light the way, a forest dweller, a guide in the night.
Amélie, meaning to work or strive for something, to be industrious. She knows that that the things that are worth the most are the things you work hard for. Working hard doesn't have to be unpleasant, it may just be giving something more of your time. We are often trying to juggle too many balls and not allowing just one of them to shine. If we have time to scroll through nonsense online we have time to do the things that really nourish our souls!
There are extra details to find from ladybirds to the lunar moth on the back of her head that whisper reminders to make the most of the fleeting nature of our journey amongst the stars.
(She was created for the Stardust Hymns exhibition with Poetic Tiger Gallery and is sold)
